Bragging about the girls...

I was so excited to get back to blogging, and I see it has been over a month since I have written anything. That just shows how busy my life is taking care of three kids!

Today I took Jenna, Alyssa and Tessa to the mall to get their hair cut. They all look so adorable! This was Tessa's second hair cut, and she is not even 9 months old yet! I wish I had a video camera to tape the girls as they were walking in the mall after their hair cuts. Jenna and Alyssa were really "strutting their stuff" and Jenna kept running her fingers through her hair. People sitting in the food court kept looking, smiling and talking about how cute they are. They all finally got some matching white dress sandals. I can't wait to enter them all in the 4th of July contest this year. They all have the most adorable matching dresses...yes, I love to have them match even though I always said I would never do that! And yes, I am finally going to enter them in the contest, despite their dad's disapproval!!!! I just can't resist!

Jenna wrote a sentence today on her own about how penguins jump: "Pegwns jup"...Not too bad for a five year old. Alyssa made a picture about a manatee. I can't leave Tessa out. She is clapping her hands, and she is starting to crawl. Last night, she started crawling after a piece of paper on the floor. It is not a "perfect" crawl yet, but it is so adorable, and she is getting the hang of it! Yes, I know I am a proud mom. I just love these girls so much, and they mean everything to me. Now, don't get me wrong, it is not always bliss. Yesterday, Alyssa threw a fit leaving Meijer over what color of gumball she wanted, and today she threw a fit before we went in to Chipotle for lunch. I had to carry her kicking and screaming. Thankfully I guess the good times far outnumber the bad!

It's Good To Be Back!

Hello everyone! I am so excited that we finally have entered the world of Internet again, and I can't wait to start blogging!

I guess I will begin with an update...I know Miranda keeps you updated on the girls, but I have to share that we are now blessed with three wonderful, beautiful little girls! Jenna, Alyssa and Tessa are all doing so well right now. I couldn't be happier spending every day with them!!! I was able to take the year off from teaching, so right now I am a stay-at-home mom. I love being with the girls, but I must admit that I miss teaching, and I definitely miss making money!!! I will be going back to work in September, but Pam will be taking care of the girls, so I know they will be in good hands. It will be hard, but financially I have to work again. Oh well, enough about that!

Jenna will be starting kindergarten in the fall. Right now, she is playing t-ball, and I am loving it!!! Alyssa will be going to preschool in September. She is a handful, but she is so adorable, smart and funny! Tessa is the sweetest, most adorable baby. She is now 7 months, and she is growing so fast. She has two teeth, and she is starting to sit up. She weighs over 17 pounds, and the doctor said she is doing so well that her prematurity is no longer an issue. I must say with her being born early, I was a little bit of an obsessive, worried, control freak of a mother, but I wanted to do everything I could to protect her. Tessa stayed in the hospital 7 days after I left, and those were the most awful days of my life. I hated leaving her there each night, and it was so hard on me. I am so thankful that she is now doing so great!

Jenna, Alyssa and I went for a "Big girls" day out while Pam watched Tessa. It was nice to spend some time with just them and make them feel more special today. We went to the mall and saw the new Hannah Montana movie. I must admit it was actually a good movie with a good message.
